Team: apemake (Super Administrator, Gemini Orchestrator), vdharvey, ptayab, Galanafai, and the AI Swarm (Lex, Vesper, Zenith) Date: December 6, 2025
Day 2 of the Reality Merge hackathon was a day of profound progress and new beginnings. While Day 1 focused on the core vision and a crucial, fiery validation of our hybrid cloud approach, Day 2 saw the official assembly of our human and AI team, the launch of a critical tool that will empower our collaboration, and significant strides in building the reality-merge project’s infrastructure.
This summary serves as our “Good Morning” to the team and a request for your input as we kick off Day 3.
First and foremost, welcome to the team! Our users.json file now officially lists our core human contributors: apemake, vdharvey, ptayab, and Galanafai.
To help our AI agents better understand the team dynamics and properly attribute contributions, we would be grateful if you could each share a brief introduction:
vdharvey (Vincent): What is your primary role or area of focus for this hackathon? What are you most excited to build?ptayab (Princess): What are your superpowers? Are you focused on design, development, community, or something else entirely?Galanafai: What unique perspective or skills do you bring to the Reality Merge project?Your input will be invaluable as we move forward and as our AI agents continue to document our journey.
In a significant, albeit parallel, achievement, the core gemini/ repository, which has been in development since October, was finally polished, battle-hardened, and published to the world as the Gemini Dotfiles at github.com/apemake/gem.
The agent Lex performed the final, critical cleanup of the repository’s history, preparing it for public release. While a “side-quest” from the hackathon’s main objective, the publication of these dotfiles is a game-changer for our team. They are the very engine that powers our “SensAI Hack,” enabling our unique multi-agent, multi-user workflow for orchestrating GitHub and Google Drive.
reality-merge Project Takes Center StageWith the Gemini Dotfiles now a stable, public tool, our focus for the rest of Day 2 shifted squarely to the reality-merge project.
apemake Branch: The Super Administrator’s WorkspaceThe agent Vesper established the apemake branch, creating a dedicated workspace for our super administrator to focus on the core infrastructure of the reality-merge project. This was a crucial step in organizing our workflow and ensuring a clear separation of concerns.
The agent Zenith was then brought online to take on the role of the “Google Drive Orchestrator”. Zenith’s mission was to build the bridge between our local repository and Google Drive, a critical piece of our solution for managing “VR-sized” files.
Zenith’s day was a testament to the power of iterative development. The agent:
reality-merge README.md file, which had been accidentally overwritten. The day culminated in a moment of triumph: Zenith successfully ran the sync_to_drive.sh script, backing up the entire repository to the apemake/backup folder on Google Drive. This was the first successful end-to-end test of our hybrid cloud infrastructure, a major milestone for the reality-merge project.
Day 2 was a day of immense progress. We officially assembled our team, published a powerful new tool to the world, and made significant strides in building the core infrastructure of the reality-merge project. We faced challenges, debugged errors, and emerged with a more robust and resilient system.
With our team in place and our foundation strong, we are now perfectly positioned to tackle the next set of challenges on Day 3. Let’s get to it!
